Description The University President and VP of Administrative Affairs appointed the Task Force after consultation with the Office of Sustainability, the Office of Undergraduate Studies, and key staff and students involved in climate change and campus sustainability. The Task Force will be Chaired by Dr. Matthias Ruth, Professor of Public Policy and Director of the UM Center for Integrative Environmental Research. Dr. Ruth is a member of the Maryland Climate Change Commission and CIER recently released a national report on climate change. CIER is also directing UM's GHG inventory.
