GHG Report for University of Wisconsin-Stout
Submitted on September 11, 2009; last updated on September 16, 2009
Summary Statistics
Making fair comparisons between higher education institutions is always challenging due to the rich diversity of higher education. The unverified nature of the information in this database and unavailability of unbiased normalization metrics means such comparisons are even more difficult. Users should therefore approach direct institution to institution comparisons with caution and recognize that all comparisons between institutions are inherently biased.| Total | Per Full-Time Enrollment | Per 1000 Square Feet | % Offset | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gross emissions (Scopes 1 + 2) | 30,229 metric tons of CO2e | 3.4 metric tons of CO2e | 12.2 metric tons of CO2e | 0% |
| Gross emissions (Scopes 1 + 2 + 3) | 38,027 metric tons of CO2e | 4.3 metric tons of CO2e | 15.4 metric tons of CO2e | 0% |
| Net emissions | 38,027 metric tons of CO2e | 4.3 metric tons of CO2e | 15.4 metric tons of CO2e | N/A |

|
|
Please describe any emissions sources that were classified as de minimis and explain how a determination of the significance of these emissions was made.
No information provided |
|
|
Please describe any data limitations related to this submission and any major assumptions made in response to these limitations.
Our previous submission used version 5 of the CA-CP. We transfered the data into the version 6.3 CA-CP tool. However, because this version used projections rather than the actual data for fiscal year 2009 emissions summaries, the tool was altered to accept the actual data when caclulating total emissions. This alteration was done by unprotecting the 2009 data cells, and copying the formulas from the 2008 cells. The figures presented here and the attached Excel spreadsheet reflect these alterations. |
